12/11 SONAR TALK – Berlin nightlife as a FLINTA

Berlin Nightlife as FLINTA* Partying as FLINTA* is anything but easy. Unfortunately, “just” having fun, forgetting about everyday life and switching off is often wishful thinking and not reality. Why is that? What needs to change? Where can we start? Where do the others (cis men) need to do the work? And what role does consumption play when it comes to celebrating as FLINTA*? We want to create a space to talk about gender-specific challenges, frustrations and emotions such as fear, disgust or anger. But there should be equal space for the beautiful sides, the already existing spaces from the community, moments of cohesion and emotions such as joy or love. We want to immerse ourselves together in a perhaps almost utopian world and work out what “safe partying” could look like for FLINTA*s. Grab your friends and let's discuss partying, consumption and the fight against patriarchal structures in Berlin's nightlife! Our Clubtalks are an open forum for all night owls and sympathizers. The November Clubtalk is aimed exclusively at people who feel they belong to FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people). The sessions are accompanied and moderated by us. For us, anything goes, but no trashtalk, blaming or any other kind of devaluation of others. Simplification and prejudice are out of place here. Let’s create a safer-space together! Depending on how it suits everyone present, the club talk will be held in German or English. We will decide together.

08/11 Midgar x useless seconds

Midgar and useless seconds join forces again, this time at Fitzroy club. The lineup will be revealed in a few days -expect a lot of good stuff because we're focusing on sound curation mora than anything else. Event Guidelines - Please Read <3 1. Safe and Inclusive Space Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or beliefs. Discriminatory behaviour of any kind (e.g., racist, sexist, homophobic, islamophobic, antisemitic, ableist) will not be tolerated. 2. Entry and Conduct We reserve the right to deny entry or refund tickets if someone appears intoxicated, aggressive, or doesn’t fit the vibe. Inside, anyone disrupting the atmosphere or acting offensively will be removed. 3. Respect the Music Using phones with bright screens on the dance floor is strongly discouraged—stay in the moment and enjoy the music. The dance floor is for dancing, not loud conversations. Keep chatting to a minimum or take it to the bar. 4. Take Care of Yourself and Others Party responsibly, know your limits, and watch out for one another. If you feel unwell or notice someone struggling, seek help at the cash desk (where you got your stamp) - our awareness team will help you out. 5. Toilet Etiquette Be mindful of others. Limit your time in the toilets to 3-4 minutes to keep things flowing smoothly. 6. Coat Check Tip Bring a backpack to store your jacket. If hangers run out, there might still be chance to check in your items. 7. Help Us Keep the Vibe If someone disrupts the night (e.g., talking loudly or acting inappropriately), remind them this is a space for music. If they’re aggressive or unresponsive, alert the staff at the cash desk.

BUTO BAYANG is a new platform connecting the Asian diaspora, centering BIPOC and queer voices, while welcoming everyone who stands with us. For our first event, we’ve invited JESSICA NIGHTLIFE, the German-Malay DJ and driving force behind the queer-focused Venus Vessels and resident at Cuddles. Their sets move between house, 90s club moments, cheeky progressive vibes and early millennium tech — playful, sexy and charged with femme energy. DJ TELL, also known as Japanese-American photographer Julien Tell, is a Berlin-based emerging DJ. He is known for his intimate portraits of some of the scene’s most iconic DJs. Earlier this year, he made his debut at Chengdu’s legendary club TAG over Chinese New Year, and we’re thrilled to welcome him for his Berlin club debut. DJ EL, Indonesia-born and Berlin-based, delivers hypnotic tribal rhythms and sassy house with his unmistakable energy behind the decks. And of course, ENNIO and HAMY, the founders of BUTO BAYANG, close the night with their signature cunty house and techno. Come early and enjoy some snacks and a special drink! Welcome again, our dancefloor royals, to the queerdom of Royal Highness! Prepare to laugh, dance and revel in absurdity with us one more time. When you are lost in the late afternoon hours of Sunday thinking where to dance to end the weekend or which after hours you should attend, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon. As promised, Royal Highness will not aim for a safe sound, but more for an intentional cacophony: fast transitions, unconventional sounds, stimulating vocals, bleeps, crunches, provoking samples and hypnotising drums. Green leaves turn, Warm days fade to cool, And the golden hues of autumn arrive. On Saturday, 18 October, join us for a blissful daytime gathering at our beloved Fitzroy—the perfect place to bid farewell to summer, with sunlight spilling through orange-hued windows and the Spree drifting quietly by.

The soundtrack for the day: house music in all its facets—warm and soulful, deep and driving. We’ll welcome both familiar faces and fresh talent to the decks, including rising producers and DJs from some of our favorite collectives. The full lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks. Video installations by Berlin artists and dear friends will accompany the music and revelry.

It's CONNECT time again, and to kick off the club season, we've invited OLDBOY from Manchester, UK, and DJ NORTHERN, co-founder and resident of "Garage Girls Berlin". Oldboy, as part of "23 Degrees", with artists such as SILVA BUMPA, Prozak, Soul Mass Transit System, N4tee, Skeptic and Capo Lee, will provide a heavy and groovy UK sound. Alongside DJ Northern from Yorkshire, UK and based in Berlin, who is a resident at various FLINTA party series such as "Garage Girls" and "FACILITATE", will complement the UKG, tech house and house sound, ensuring the best party night of the year. Robotic techno, test equipment drones, and shimmering modular textures: this evening is an unusual journey through machine-made music, created for humans.

Based in Berlin and loved worldwide, Hainbach creates analog-electronic sounds. Using vintage test gear, tape loops, and rare instruments, he transforms the “unmusical” into the musical.

Known for his viral inventions and live techno machines, Moritz Simon Geist brings his robotic instruments: little machines that click and pulse, building techno grooves from mechanics.

Modular synthesizer guru Jacq Noise throws hypnotic synth lines into the mix, delivering analog energy at the twist of a knob.

SYSTM closes the night with pounding techno and bass music: it’s Karsten’s first live concert with this setup, and everyone’s excited what he brings!

Throughout the night, patches.av fills the room with generative visuals.
