23/10 Chain Reaction

After a little break, Chain Reaction is back with an escalation plan, landing at Fitzroy for the first time. On Friday, 23 October, we’re gathering Berlin’s house music community for a night of progressive, leftfield and driving house. Expect playful experimentation and seven hours of music carried by Fitzroy’s powerful sound system. 𓇽𓇽𓇽𓇽𓇽 SOPH.RIOT is a German-Brazilian DJ based in Berlin and part of the MOZAÏK collective. She brings together modern house and trance with influences from her Brazilian roots. For a special b2b, French-Ivorian DJ and former classical flautist Drama Hexe meets Chain Reaction resident and curator Adri Alibi. Drama Hexe blends groovy old-school house, percussive rhythms and dreamy textures, while Adri draws from a deep fascination with rhythm, body music, cold wave and electro. Posture is an Australian producer and DJ based in Berlin, a SEVEN artist and co-founder of the queer party series Cuties. A self-described dancefloor diva, she moves between soul-enriching grooves, sun-soaked euphoria and sassy late-night gems. Closing the night is DJ handbag, a Berlin-based house DJ, founder and resident of the CNTCORE collective. Her sets combine vocal house, hardbag, garage, UK bass and industrial textures with a sound rooted in queer club culture, joy and rebellion. 𓇽𓇽𓇽𓇽𓇽 This one is for dancers who like their house music playful, sexy, a little strange and made for a sweaty dancefloor. To mark our Fitzroy debut, the Chain Reaction community will transform the space with handmade decorations created especially for the night. Come as you are, express yourself freely and help us keep the dancefloor warm, respectful and open. Respect boundaries and ask for consent. 03/10 Moodroom By Day

Returning to our favourite dancefloor to see out the summer and usher in autumn, we gather for an extended run stretching from afternoon into night, with a slew of kindred selectors making their Moodroom debut across the day. Warming up the party is ronni65, an alias of Berlin-based DJ Stornoline, better known for high-speed bootleg sounds and boundary-pushing B2Bs. Born from fruitful sessions in ://about blank’s Sektgarten, the ronni65 project sees her exploring the slower, deeper reaches of house. Ajaanib brings together Moodroom resident CJ Schneider and his best friend and musical other half, Rory. Their B2B celebrates a bond born in the north of England, deepened between Beirut and Berlin, and honed through countless after-hours mixing sessions. Together, they guide the dance floor from afternoon glow into the onset of darkness. Amino and Chris return with another AMG special, their chemistry honed through a year of back-to-backs. Delivered with the dynamism, joy and meticulous care, expect a belter-studded ascent through pulsing, muscular terrain. SCAM DJs make their Moodroom debut, two nightlife workers, Sam and Cam, who have dedicated their lives to scamming DJs. Their scheme runs on techy bangers, big breakdowns and boisterous gesticulations, and more than a few dance floor curveballs. Moodroom stalwart Martha O. returns to bring the party home for a second time. Her quality and versatility as a selector are long since proven, placing the final stretch of revelry in the safest of hands. Gracing Fitzroy this October with his visual projections is Danimation, a multimedia artist and VJ who has worked some of house music’s most storied festivals, among them Dimensions, Freerotation, and Omana. No one chooses to be stateless, yet in a world organised around nation-states, those affected are frequently excluded from public life and face significant barriers to healthcare and education. Statefree World e.V. is Germany’s first charity and advocacy organisation dedicated to supporting people affected by statelessness and raising awareness of the issue. More than 120,000 people in Germany are affected, many of whom were born here. Led by a small, young team whose members are themselves stateless, Statefree World advocates for policy change and better recognition of statelessness.

13/09 Simbiosis at Fitzroy [daytime party]

Simbiosis lands at the mythical Fitzroy for a Sunday day party. Expect a carefully curated journey through deep electronic sounds, featuring local Berlin talent and an intimate dancefloor energy that carries from daylight into the evening. From 14:00 to 22:00, we celebrate the end of summer with friends and new guests, psychedelic visuals, and an afternoon of non-stop dancing! Expect groovy after-hour vibes<3 We are committed to creating a space based on respect, care, and collective responsibility. Our awareness team will be present throughout the event to help foster a safer environment for everyone. We ask all guests to look after one another, respect personal boundaries, celebrate diversity, and contribute to a dancefloor where everyone feels welcome. Time to get Messy! We celebrate our 4th year anniversary, on one of Berlin's most emblematic days, CSD. For this occasion, we will host 2 dancefloors and an open air area for chilling, at our beloved Fitzroy & Lark If you have been a part of the community, you know what to expect musically, but if this will be your first Unordnungsamt, you can expect a main floor with seriously good House & Acid House music at Fitzroy, and old school Techno & Electro at Lark Fitzroy: - Javier Anxiety (Anxiety Therapy) - Jogo (Unordnungsamt) - GUILE (TSOL, X-Kalay, Cyber Funk) - Flor Coto B2B Szew (Reboot) Lark: - Mara Vilu - Bouch B2B Lenut (Eternal Source) - Juan Neira (Unordnungsamt) It goes without saying, there's no room for any kind of violent, discriminatory or derogatory behaviour in any way.
