When you are lost in the late afternoon hours of Sunday thinking where to dance to end the weekend or which after hours you should attend, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon: from 3pm to 3am on April 27th, Sunday at Fitzroy. This collaboration is about breaking barriers and creating space. This night is about more than music—it’s about representation, community, and creative expression. We challenge industry norms, push boundaries, and create a space where our stories are heard, shared, and celebrated. Makaan is a record label and a space for amplifying the voices of marginalized, unseen, and unheard artists from SWANA+ and MENA regions. Makaan Records breaks down the barriers of borderlines, censorship, sanctions, and discrimination, particularly within the techno genre, by creating an inclusive platform for cultural exchange. mnjm is a Berlin-based label and event series platform. it refers to the first gay dating app offered in Arab countries amongst others (Manjam). Taking the inspiration from its decentralised approach towards non-western cultural heritage and bridging it with diverse sonic influences. mnjm brings periphery back to the center by highlighting emerging and established artists from the diaspora and beyond.

We are thrilled to announce the next installment of decompression, returning to Fitzroy on April 25th! We’re once again set to span the dancefloor with the finest music around... This time on the turntables, we welcome the talented AINO from Cologne, known for her highly versatile house and techno selection. Also joining us again is our good friend Florian Pas, who teams up with paisa for their back-to-back debut. The night will be enframed by yet another flirt between Luca Mariaux & Saber and a first-time collab between MAR & Candy Jones. Also we’re especially excited to have the audiovisual collective Schepperdrön from Monheim am Rhein onboard, who will set up an interactive CRT TV installation. We can’t wait to see everyone again! Berlin’s showcase of the Ukrainian collective TYSK and the Georgian label Fantastic Planet represents the shared struggle of two brotherly nations for freedom from oppression. United not only by resistance against the same enemy but also by an uncompromising reflection of an intense lifestyle in sound. Fast-paced four-on-the-floor beats, wild electro, and breakbeats—all fused into a Molotov cocktail of genres that shift at lightning speed within artists' sets. High-energy frequencies and relentless broken rhythms, amplified by Berlin’s vibes at Fitzroy, will ignite the dancefloor. TYSK is a Ukrainian electronic formation created by natives of two polar regions of Ukraine - the owner of the Laconica vinyl label - Sasha Pervukhin (Lviv) and the co-founder of the subcultural community Some People - Anton Nazarko (Kharkiv). Fantastic Planet - a label taking its origins in Tbilisi, Georgia, founded by Trotsky, one of the crucial parts of today’s Georgian scene, related artists - Hamatsuki, Seqta, Mtvare, Byron Yeates, and many others.

Our name is derived from the daytime parties of the 80s and 90s, where young British Asians skipped school to dance to bhangra, garage, and jungle in community spaces. In homage, DAYTIMERS continues to provide a space for those rebellious South Asians that are far more interested in exploring their creative sides than the tropes of parental expectation. As our community continues to expand beyond the UK, we’re stoked to bring the DAYTIMERS vibes to Berlin, in efforts to make the scene more accessible for its South Asian diaspora. After hosting two parties in Berlin in 2024, to an incredible reception, we’re more excited than ever to keep cultivating this beautiful creative community.
