Recess is back at Fitzroy by the Spree for a Sunday grooving session. Join us to welcome October with a dance, lose and find yourself alongside old and new friends. Musical delights will be served from 4PM by Konduku, Selessa T, and a special guest, plus Recess’ own Superamas, MXX and Ten25. Come early, and stay late for the riverside magic. TEMPA visits Berlin for the first time! A night dedicated to forward-thinking afrodiasporic club sounds and global dancefloor energy. Bringing together artists from Los Angeles and Berlin, the lineup explores the intersections of Global Bass, Batida, Gqom and other rhythm-driven club mutations. Special Guest is Los Angeles-based DJ Asphodele, known for adventurous sets that connect diasporic rhythms with contemporary electronic music. Joining her are Berlin selectors Bloomfeld and Lukinu, alongside a special b2b set from Hanaby and JADA. Opening the night, Roof of Bangefabrique sets the tone with percussive grooves and bass-heavy selections. From hypnotic polyrhythms to high-energy club sounds, TEMPA celebrates global connections, sonic exploration and movement without borders.
