Moodroom: Harbinger Kurt & Friends

On Sunday 18 May, Moodroom founder Harbinger Kurt invites a cast of friends to join him at Fitzroy to celebrate the release of his debut EP Solastalgia, out 30 May on NEIN Records.

From 4PM to 11PM, friends and familiar faces will gather as Fitzroy transforms into a soft-focused daydream for a joyous little gathering in one of Berlin’s happiest Spree-side clubs.

To mark the occasion, Harbinger Kurt brings a few kindred spirits to the booth: the inimitable and enigmatic Impérieux (Macro, Pampa, Innervisions), melodious conjurer Kev Sheridan (Maeve), Tronik Youth, the driving force behind NEIN, sonic storyteller Soso Klein (Rebellion der Träumer), and the ever versatile PJ Curly.

Entry is €7, purchased here and on the door. All proceeds will go to Western Native Voices, a Montana-based nonprofit empowering Native American communities through youth leadership and community engagement.

25/04 decompression with AINO

We are thrilled to announce the next installment of decompression, returning to Fitzroy on April 25th! We’re once again set to span the dancefloor with the finest music around... This time on the turntables, we welcome the talented AINO from Cologne, known for her highly versatile house and techno selection. Also joining us again is our good friend Florian Pas, who teams up with paisa for their back-to-back debut. The night will be enframed by yet another flirt between Luca Mariaux & Saber and a first-time collab between MAR & Candy Jones. Also we’re especially excited to have the audiovisual collective Schepperdrön from Monheim am Rhein onboard, who will set up an interactive CRT TV installation. We can’t wait to see everyone again! This collaboration is about breaking barriers and creating space. This night is about more than music—it’s about representation, community, and creative expression. We challenge industry norms, push boundaries, and create a space where our stories are heard, shared, and celebrated. Makaan is a record label and a space for amplifying the voices of marginalized, unseen, and unheard artists from SWANA+ and MENA regions. Makaan Records breaks down the barriers of borderlines, censorship, sanctions, and discrimination, particularly within the techno genre, by creating an inclusive platform for cultural exchange. mnjm is a Berlin-based label and event series platform. it refers to the first gay dating app offered in Arab countries amongst others (Manjam). Taking the inspiration from its decentralised approach towards non-western cultural heritage and bridging it with diverse sonic influences. mnjm brings periphery back to the center by highlighting emerging and established artists from the diaspora and beyond.

Welcome again, our dancefloor royals, to the queerdom of Royal Highness! Prepare to laugh, dance, and revel in absurdity with us one more time. Date is already set: April 27, Sunday. When you are lost in the late afternoon hours of Sunday thinking where to dance to end the weekend or which after hours you should attend, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon: from 3pm to 3am on April 27th, Sunday at Fitzroy. As promised, Royal Highness will not aim for a safe sound, but more for an intentional cacophony: fast transitions, unconventional sounds, stimulating vocals, bleeps, crunches, provoking samples and hypnotising drums.
