Doors 20:00

‘I Was There’ is a documentary in the making on Ron Hardy and the Rise of House Music from Chicago and the Midwest. The film’s aim is to keep Ron’s story alive for future generations as well as putting House’s narrative back in the hands of its originators.

All entry fees will go towards shooting the film’s next interview Chicago in November with the legendary Robert Williams – the man responsible for giving Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles their starts, as the founder of The Muzic Box and The Warehouse.

The film is being made with the collaboration and supervision of Bill Hardy and the Hardy Family. Dress to sweat. Doors open at 20:00 Pitch teaser for the film in the links below featuring interviews with Robert Owens and Jamie 3:26.
