DANCE REIGNS! Welcome, our dancefloor royals, to the queerdom of Royal Highness! Prepare to laugh, dance, and revel in absurdity, knowing that your mere presence in Royal Highness is a radical act of weird dancing and hearing absurd sounds.
When you are lost in the daytime hours of Saturday thinking whether you have to start a pre-party or continue with an after hours, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon: from 10am to 8pm on July 8, Saturday at Fitzroy. Royal Highness does not aim for a safe sound; but more for an intentional cacophony: fast transitions, unconventional sounds, stimulating vocals, bleeps, crunches, provoking samples and hypnotising drums.

05/09 vurt. 10 Years Tour in Berlin
05 SEP: Fitzroy, Berlin vurt. 10Years Tour w/ Djilogue / SUNA / Anthony Linell / Svreca Emerging in Seoul in 2014 with the slogan “Ancient Future,” vurt is a group dedicated to timeless electronic music and the pure spirit of underground culture, hosting various events at a space of the same name in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul. DJILOGUE and SUNA, the resident DJs who have developed the vurt style over the past decade will embark on a European tour to celebrate vurt's 10th anniversary. The “vurt. 10Years Tour” will kick off in Porto on August 30th and span two weeks, with stops in London, Berlin, and Madrid. The tour will bring together some of the finest underground techno artists who have collaborated with vurt over the years, as well as local artists, promoters, and clubs shaping their unique scenes in their respective cities. The tour is made for building an underground network connecting Asia to the EU and sharing each scene's deep beauty.

Special guests of the night will be the OG of Italian cosmic disco Daniele Baldelli, local legend Stella Zekri (Body Language), Cocktail D'Amore's resident Richii and ELSI's daddy Luca Carluccio b2b Balearic Banana for a memorable closing set. We truly value the importance of personal space when dancing, the event will run at a limited capacity. Make sure to come down early, doors open at 23. With this birthday, we will pay an extra special tribute to Queer-Trans and BIPOC communities that have been there before us, paving the way, or in Robert Owens' case are still very much alive and continuing the work. It is also a nod to Ballroom culture, which, as is widely known, was pioneered by Black Trans Femmes.
