HandiCraft Workshop: Audio & Licht Mixing für Club Events @ Fitzroy
In diesem Workshop lernst du das Mischpult kennen.
Du machst Soundchecks für DJs.
Du erfährst, worauf du beim Überprüfen der Pegel achten musst.
Außerdem gibt’s eine Einführung ins Licht mischen.
Du kannst Deine eigenen Voreinstellungen erstellen.
Du gestaltest die Clubbing-Atmosphäre.
Dieser Workshop wird von der hauseigenen Technikerin des Fitzroy geleitet.
Sie heißt Jacqnoise (sie/ihr) und wurde für die SHAPE+ Plattform 2024/2025 nominiert.
Hinweise:
Der Workshop wird in englischer Sprache abgehalten.
Selbstverständlich können Fragen gestellt oder Gespräche auf Deutsch geführt werden, falls erforderlich.
Dies ist kein DJ-Workshop, sondern ein Einblick in die technische Ausstattung einer Clubbing-Veranstaltung.
Wer?
– Bis zu 7 Teilnehmer:innen
– Personen mit FLINTA & BIPOC Profilen und Menschen mit Behinderungen bevorzugt
– Neue Crews können auch mitmachen, mit bis zu 3 Mitgliedern

To celebrate, come dance with us at Fitzroy on Friday 16th January
Lineup for the occasion:
ISA - has been friends with astral.lab before it even existed. Isa runs the label & event series EVOLVE. Her style is unique not just including one genre but many she always manages to deliver pure energy on the dance floor. (It also happens to be her birthday! Let's celebrate it on the dance floor!)
Wendy - part of the Copenhagen based Quake collective, he first made contact with the label in the beginning of 2025 releasing on astral.lab's mix series, driving between Minimalistic, Progressive & froglike Goa - some might call it "Froggressive" ;)
Goldraver - As a familiar face in the trance family, he is known for big ranges of trance, techno & plenty of out-of-the-box curveballs. He recently completed an internship in Goa - suiting him perfectly for astral.lab.
vSto - known for playing various styles of Psychedelic Trance & one of astral.lab's founders, he also runs a mix series called "GET PSYTRANCED" - including 11 mixes of his own!

TWO YEARS OF STECKER -`✫´- On Friday, 23.01 we’re celebrating our 2nd anniversary back at Fitzroy. Two years of sweaty basements, shredded vinyls, lots of dancing and a community that keeps on growing. For this one we’re keeping it close to home and vinyl only, with a special b2b from our favourite papis: agua con gas x Senergi bringing that playful, drum-heavy peak-time sound, and our residents SBRD & maneta on duty to keep the energy going.
