They are interested in the fluid, organic, and often melancholic aspect of music, achieved through combining multiple layers of sounds, creating weird (poly)rhythms, and drawing inspiration from natural landscapes, such as the forest and ocean. As a producer, they enjoy experimenting with FX, textures, granular and generative sounds, and all different kinds of percussions. They released tracks on Pressure Dome, Bait, Early Reflex and traverse and have released their debut EP on hundert Records in February 2024. ophélie’s Refuge Worldwide residency, Therapy Dog, and event series at Kwia, allow her to experiment and explore the different genres she’s into, while often sharing the decks with friends and like-minded artists. As part of Open Music Lab, a non-profit collective offering free music and production courses for people from Berlin’s diverse communities to connect and create together, she’s interested in ways to support emerging artists outside the mainstream, in the hope to build a more equitable music scene. —————————————————————————————————-
