With this birthday, we will pay an extra special tribute to Queer-Trans and BIPOC communities that have been there before us, paving the way, or in Robert Owens’ case are still very much alive and continuing the work. It is also a nod to Ballroom culture, which, as is widely known, was pioneered by Black Trans Femmes.

31/01 Solidarity Night for Heyva Sor
What keeps us warm in these cold, melancholy times? We, each other. On January 31, 2025, we are celebrating Δ°Γ Δ°ΓE Solidarity Night at Fitzroy. All proceeds will go to Heyva Sor, the Kurdish Red Cross, which supports people in Rojava who work tirelessly for hope and resistance despite attacks, destroyed infrastructure and scarce resources.
