ROYAL HIGHNESS Welcome again, our dancefloor royals, to the queerdom of Royal Highness! Prepare to laugh, dance, and revel in absurdity with us one more time. When you are lost in the late afternoon hours of Sunday thinking where to dance to end the weekend or which after hours you should attend, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon: from 3pm to 3am on February 22nd, Sunday, 2 floors: Fitzroy & Lark As promised, Royal Highness will not aim for a safe sound, but more for an intentional cacophony: fast transitions, unconventional sounds, stimulating vocals, bleeps, crunches, provoking samples and hypnotising drums. For this round of decompression, we’re excited to be back at Fitzroy and share the decks with two of our favorite DJs in Berlin: Udda and aykanakdag. Aykan will surprise us with a live machine-based set. Our dear friend Florian Pas is joining crew member MAR for closing the night. We’re also looking forward to invite Hanna Hauten and Simon Bartels to show their photography in the brighter parts of the club and to have our friend Warmer Riese from Schepperdrön over, who will light up the night with interactive video art. The artist Leli Meer exhibits the perfect lighting for a cigarette break. Can’t wait for this - See u there!
