Parallaxen [Infinite Drift x 29 Speedway]: Color Plus, NAS TEA, Mathis Ruffing, ex wiish, Blume
Doors 23:00
Brooklyn, New York-based performance series 29 Speedway lands in Berlin for their first club night, ‘Parallaxen’, in collaboration with Berlin-based label Infinite Drift. 1 night. 2 perspectives in 3 dimensions. 4 the infrasonic detectives. Color Plus, aka Lars Probert, is a Brooklyn-based producer hailing from Connecticut. Following his 2015 debut EP on Plastician’s label Terrorhythm, he has released projects on several US labels like Cazeria Cazador Records, while also augmenting his sound through numerous self-releases. His knack for revivifying familiar sounds into fresh, buffeting compositions sparked attention among many auspicious vocal artists, including Eartheater, with whom he collaborated on her Trinity mixtape song ‘Preservation’, most recently featured in Mugler’s SS21 show. Besides his own musical output, Lars is the founder of Towhead Recordings, the record label behind the ‘New York Dance Music’ compilation series (2020), and the ‘Slitherman Activated’ (2021) album of avant-garde rapper RXK Nephew, on which Color Plus produced almost every single track. NAS TEA is a performer, DJ, sound and video artist based in Berlin and Hamburg. Drawing from worlds of healing, dreams and spirituality NAS TEA aims to connect with the audience and environment as a performer, creating a space for expression. Floating between different alter egos as an artist NAS TEA shows her bold and fun side as a DJ and producer, playing high adrenaline electronic music geared towards techno, popcore and breaks. Blume, hailing from the vibrant tapestry of Buenos Aires’s electronic underground music scene, now finds herself a part of mainland Europe. Establishing her online record store Format Wars in 2019, hosting and curating associated pop-up events, she is a DJ whose club-centric sound moves inwards from the peripheries of dance music. With sets, unlimited and freeform, finding inspiration through sonic qualities she treasures, Blume embraces a broad dynamic that’s both heavy in bass and energetic as it is ghostly, glitchy and atmospheric. Mathis Ruffing is a music producer and DJ. His releases on his own imprint Infinite Drift, as well as on labels like Banlieue Records, Strictly Strictly, Savour the Moment, Kudatah and Raiders, transcend boundaries of electronic music genres. Infinite Drift is a collaborative effort by Jose Fleury & Mathis Ruffing to collect and preserve stimulating ideas. Born out of a mutual interest in music & arts, it serves as an archive of sonic and visual experiments. Ex WIish is the new musical project of Ben Shirken, a sound artist and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. They are the founder of 29 Speedway, which serves as a platform for artists exploring the fringes of interdisciplinary art, featuring forward-thinking improvisational music and live multimedia. Co-founded in 2020 with Kowloon Baby, 29S works with artists exploring the fringes of sound art and performance.

04/12 Somatic Rave
Somatic Rave - A Dance Practice for Renewal & Release Somatic Rave reimagines club culture as a space for connection and embodied self-care. A dance session. A practice. An experiment. For the first time, we take it to a full club setting. We begin with a one-hour somatic movement workshop guided by tamypro, blending nervous system regulation with deep musical flow. tamypro's customized set moves through different layers of club music, paired with verbal and physical cues to help you drop more and more into your body as the night unfolds. Then, Kaitusha takes us further - a DJ set built for full-bodied movement: spacious, physical, and alive. Known for her dynamic, driving selections, this set is for pure motion, no chit-chat, no distractions, just rhythm, connection, and dancing. Somatic Rave celebrates the music we love while opening space for collective release, transcendence, and embodied rhythm. We’re keeping capacity intentionally small - enough space to move, breathe, and fully arrive. You are invited to join from start to finish to capture the whole experience.
