Vechornytsi: “Ukrainian traditional parties with music, songs, jokes and rituals. Vechornytsi began in the late September after the seasonal agricultural works were over. Young people from Ukrainian villages gathered in the evenings and had parties.These were everyday and festive Vechornytsi.” In collaboration with Ukrainian record label ОЧІ (Ochi) and Musicians Defend Ukraine, Vechornytsi is inviting the community to yet another all-night edition at Fitzroy, to showcase Music and Art by the beautiful Ukrainian artists currently in Berlin. This gathering will also include a tattoo booth which will be operated by our very talented friends. A portion of the proceeds from all tattoos and art sold will also be donated!
The goal of this Vechornytsi is to raise awareness of russia’s terrorist invasion in Ukraine, while raising money to support @musicians_defend_ukraine and their fundraising efforts. *All proceeds and donations will go to Musicians Defend Ukraine*

On Friday, September 12th, Other to the Front invites House of Grace to celebrate the beginning of a beautiful partnership with high energy, a lot of housy & bass groove, & an all FLINTA* lineup.
We are excited to present, for the first time in Berlin, a very special guest joining us directly from Boston: a dazzling selectress, an embodiment of skill and craft, and a passionate community builder.
Mx. Blaire (she/they) has a singular ability to enchant dancers with stirring, sometimes otherworldly sounds, grounded by strong basslines and beats. We'll be dancing in the temporary utopian zone-house Fitzroy, to remind people of our joy. We bet in the party as politics of the night, as an action where it’s possible to create, to desire, to feel new imaginaries that challenge, displace, question the imposed cisheterocapitalist imaginary; where we let ourselves be pierced by the music and dance—primal and wild feelings—, to dance with ferocity and asymmetry between the zigzagging and the torn, shaking the pre-established harmony with shameless gestures in search of agitation. Bodies at the service of pleasure to imagine, to build, to share new stories of resistance.
Dance possesses, from the beginning, the magical power of the marginal, the excluded, and the banished. We bet, in any case, on the mythology that has almost always lost; we will always be with the losers, by strategic and almost moral principle. Spin like the riot’s on the beat! SWEAT represents one of the purest forms of being alive. sweat is a vivid proof of energy, and energy translates into heat. it is a state of visible transformation, a process of becoming that connects body and mind. we do not consider sweat as something to be hidden or even prevented. we consider sweat as the most authentic expression of passion. It creates a story that goes beyond individual movement. sweat is a dialogue: on the dance floor, sweat embodies a nonverbal language and shared experience. sweat is a mentality of challenging limits and resisting. naturally, sweat stands for not giving up, for pushing boundaries when things get uncomfortable. sweat asks for dedication. it is the visible proof of trying. to sweat is to continue, to endure, and ultimately, to evolve. for us, sweat foreshadows achievement. in the context of nightlife, we perceive sweat as devotion. with the second volume of R0, we affirm life and energy on the dance floor. sweat follows the body in motion—beginning with house and unfolding into body-oriented techno.
